STORYTELLING THROUGH THE LENS
Fine Art

Fine Art
Fine art photography is the result of carefully arranging color, form, and light. Then capturing that composition via a camera to freeze that specific moment into a two-dimensional image. This image is used to communicate emotion, vision, and story.
North of the Broad River
North of the Broad River is my largest, most cohesive photographic series. It explores specific locations in and around the town I was raised in, Beaufort, South Carolina. These locations all informed the person I am. They also hold significance to Beaufort County as a whole. As we are all shaped by the places we come from, this series commemorates my upbringing in Beaufort County, North of the Broad River.
African Adventures
African Adventures displays the setting, wildlife, and people of rural Kenya and Tanzania. This includes the famous “super tusker” elephant at Amboseli National Park, named Craig, who has since passed from natural causes. Transport yourself into the villages and wilderness of Earth’s second-largest continent with African Adventures.
The one year project
The One Year Project is the result of a personal challenge to create a series of photographs every day of 2024. This exercise aided the development of my photographic style and expanded my expertise. The series includes a carefully curated selection of the most powerful fruits of this labor, The One Year Project.
Origins
Origins journeys into the growth and development of a new photographer. This accumulation of stills were all created within the first two years of my adventure into photography. Here you see the highlights of an unimaginable number of mistakes and missteps. Welcome to my photographic origins.
